As children our biological drives urge us to fear the dark. The dark being the great unknown that it is tends to hide away the lights of day and sink us into the shadows.
I too once feared the dark, the night was my greatest enemy, but things changed when I discovered shutter photography.
A simple camera trick turned night into day. Following the light trails revealed a world once hidden in the darkness and allowed for an exploration of the night.
The paths that the light traveled illuminated in glowing colors allowed the darkness to be enchanting, taking away the fear that I once held, allowing me to love the nighttime.
